Artist Statement: I decided to call the exhibition "TRANSITIONS" because I've included paintings from many of the different series produced over the years. It's interesting reflecting on how change occurs over time and how one thought leads to another.
Although the works can appear very different from one series to another, the common thread in my work is the transition of colours. I'm interested in how one colour can bleed into another where an illusional line is formed and other suggested lines can be sharp and hard edged.
